Curtis Rawlings serves as the Interim Director for Information Systems. Curtis manages the Information Systems Department and all facets of information technology services including administration, applications and infrastructure services.
Curtis joined DeKalb County in 2004 as Assistant Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining DeKalb County, Curtis oversaw information systems for Airtran Airways, where he implemented a major program to revitalize outdated systems. His extensive experience in information systems and technology also includes serving as an independent consultant, directing technical operations for Business Computer Applications and developing information systems strategies and tactical plans for MARTA. In addition, Curtis is a Cisco Certified Network Professional.
Curtis earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a Masters of Business Information Systems from Georgia State University.
